Folded tiles can not only be used to make medallions for cards, they can also be used to make borders and frames for scrapbooks.

Debbie Gowan's card showing a border instead of a medallion. Layout by Debbie Gowan showing tea bag folding as an embellishment. Another card by Debbie Gowan.

Debbie's layout showing tea bags folded with scrap booking patterned paper. Vanessa Ingraham's baby layout showing same fold but with Origami paper. A bookmark made with tiles by Ruby Burns. Ruby makes really great tiles, backgrounds and matching envelopes.  Her website is well worth surfing!

Medallions make great bows for presents.  Add a 3D effect using pop ups.  This tile is one of the free Circle of Crafters tiles.   This bow was made with layers of tiles printed in different sizes. Box card - Pull at the sides of this card and it becomes a box used to insert small things like store gift cards.  (The red cardstock is one complete sheet of paper, the split that opens is the gold part behind and the box itself is just a plain sheet of paper folded a certain way.)
