About Me

[History] [Instructions] [Tiles] [Templates] [My Cards] [My CD] [Guest Book]

I am a registered nurse who worked in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit full time for 32 years.  Crafting has always been a big part of my recreational life.  From the time I was in Grade 7, I taught crafts to boys and girls at the Optimist Boy's Club.  Over the years, I tried many different crafts but now spend much of my time since my retirement scrapbooking and card making.

Recently I have taught many different scrapbooking techniques both privately and in classroom settings.

My computer knowledge is mostly self taught.  I became interested in tea bag folding just a short time ago and "snaffled" many different tiles from different tea bag sites.  Soon it became apparent that using someone else's tile was okay but I wanted to make my own.  I decided that it was time to teach myself some graphics programs.  This website is a way I can share some of my tiles.

BUT!

I have an ulterior motive for doing this.  I am a 7 year survivor of Inflammatory Breast Cancer.  I wanted to help raise money for research since the death rate for this aggressive type of cancer is so very high.  I've been making a CD of my tea bag tiles with an easy option for printing a sheet of 16 tiles all at once.  My CD will be available in a select few scrapbooking stores in my area and will also be available online in time for October's Breast Cancer month.  The net proceeds of this CD will go towards breast cancer research.
